I have been showing Bichon Frise's in Conformation for 17 years, in that time I have always trained and shown my own dogs. UNTIL Annee came along... Annee is in one phrase a "mamma's girl" in all my years of showing this was the first dog I was giving up on. She was so shy and timid and would not put her tail up in the ring or even let the judge get near her. AND THEN there was SANDY!
I decided since we weren't getting anywhere in Conformation to try Rally and Obedience just for fun and see what happens. So I show up with this scared dog hiding between my legs. It took her 3 weeks to learn what it was about, and there was no stopping her! When we pulled up in front of Sandy's house she would start screaming with excitement! And now less than a year later she has a title in Rally and 8 points in Conformation!
Thank You Sandy for being nothing short of a miracle,
Niki & Annee Shaffer

”I am the owner of an Old English Sheepdog for the third time. My present OES has been a real challenge. Lots of energy, spirit and stubbornness! After using one trainer for several months who I thought was well qualified to help me, and did not, I called Sandy. I was determined not to give up on Adeline. Sandy has done wonders with her. Sandy is patient, firm and loving, and it is so evident how much she loves what she does. Sandy is easy to communicate with and always willing to go the extra mile. There have been times when I was on the brink of giving up and after talking to Sandy, I found myself with renewed faith in myself and Adeline. Sandy is an excellent teacher of pets and pet owners.”

“Sandy is an excellent trainer. She is kind and encouraging and very positive in her training. She is knowledgeable and encourages confidence in those she is training. She spent a lot of time observing my dog and then teaching me so much about his body language. It seems that dogs have a lot more to say than you think even if they never utter a word. No question was stupid and I learned an incredible amount about dogs and how to get their respect and make me the leader in the relationship. Sandy was fun to work with and brought the best treats. Ozzy loved her and was always happy to see her. She was very patient even if her student was being difficult that day. Sandy remains an excellent resource and is always ready to help. She is a very supportive person and I treasure that relationship!”
